I like that this unit holds so much water at a time, and that I can control how long I want it to run for. I also like how I can turn off the light and change its colour.
I do not like, however, that the top cover of the unit does not lock onto the base in any way. This means that if it were to be knocked over, the entire contents of the water chamber would splash out. If the top cover locked onto the base, however, then the spillage would be minimized.
I also do not like the height of the mist spray. The spray projects approximately 10 inches above the spout on top of the unit, and I was hoping it would be sprayed higher into the air. As it is, mist droplets tend to land and accumulate on the table surface which the unit is sitting on. This is annoying because these droplets are difficult to clean, since I add lavender oil to the water. I have to keep a towel underneath the unit to make cleaning easier.
